Shamrock Builders has been a trusted name in construction for over 57 years. Established in 1967 by Roger O’Herren, Shamrock Builders quickly earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship and integrity. In the early 1980s, Roger brought his son, Greg O’Herren, and his nephew, George Geiger, into the business following their graduation from DePauw University. Upon Roger’s retirement, Greg and George became co-owners and have continued to lead Shamrock Builders with a focus on growth, innovation, and long-term client relationships.
With one of the longest-standing track records in the Indianapolis market, Shamrock Builders began as a custom home builder, completing over 700 residential homes. In 1996, we expanded into commercial construction and have since completed over 1,000,000 square feet of ground-up commercial projects, including self-storage facilities, office buildings, dental offices, and medical spaces. Our self-storage projects now span across the United States, reflecting the trust and confidence our clients place in us nationwide.
Our longevity, experience, and commitment to excellence remain unmatched in the Midwest. Many of our employees and trade partners have been with us for 20 years or more, ensuring our clients receive consistent, knowledgeable, and reliable service on every project.

Owner
Greg joined Shamrock Builders in 1982 after graduating from DePauw University. Greg is happily married with three kids. He enjoys running, wine, and spending time with his family. He and his wife love their home on Geist Reservoir and he is active in Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church. He enjoys the friends he has made while building homes or offices. He is a past member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society Foundation Board.
George Geiger,
Owner
George and Greg are cousins, and George is also a DePauw University graduate. George started his career with Merrill Lynch in Houston, Texas, after college. In 1984, he moved to Indiana to join Shamrock Builders. George is married and has four children. He enjoys boating and spending time with his family. He is a past President of the Community Hospital Foundation Board and is still very active in supporting Community Hospital charitable causes.
